7. Contract description: Provision of technical assistance for the
supervision of the construction and rehabilitation works for the upgrading
of the health centre of Manhiça to rural hospital. The responsibilities
delegated to the consultant in his quality of Supervisor's Representative
will call for the services listed below, without, however, being
necessarily and strictly restricted to the items identified: review and
monitoring of work programmes, verification of quality and quantity of
works performed and materials used; verification of measurements and
issuance of interim payment certificates; advise on problems arising
during the execution of the works; coordination with third parties, e.g.
public utilities, local government, water management bodies, etc.;
analysis of claims submitted by the contractors(s); services at
provisional and final acceptance of the works.
8. Indicative maximum budget: EUR 210 000.
9. Intended timing of publication: October–November 2007.
