The project is located on the Islands of GA Villingili & GA Dhaandhoo in Gaafu Alifu Atoll in southern Maldives. The work generally includes the Supply And Delivery Of Materials And Equipment Required To Construct New Sewer Collection & Pumping System With Ocean Outfall, Pre-Fabricated Septic Tanks, Effluent Pumping Systems, Where Required, And For The Decommissioning Of Existing On-Site Septic Systems And All Other Related Activities For A Complete And Operational System.

Bid submissions shall be in the form of a Technical Bid and a Price Bid in two separate sealed envelopes submitted together. Bidders are notified that the Evaluation & Qualification Criteria contained in Section 3 of the Bidding Documents will be used by the Employer to assess the adequacy of Technical Proposals and determine compliance with the minimum qualification requirements stated therein. The Bidder's experience and ability to mobilize key resources and items of enjoyment are important considerations in awarding this Contract. Therefore, the onus is on the Bidder to demonstrate, through the Technical Bid submission, the ability to perform the type and standard of the Works specified and to clearly establish financial, technical and project management capabilities. Only bids meeting the minimum technical requirements and qualification criteria shall be considered further.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount specified in the tender documents in US Dollars.
The American Red Cross reserves the right to reject any and all bids or accept the bid deemed to be in their best interest.
