II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The purpose of
the Pre-Qualification is to enable Longford County Council to evaluate
whether the candidates meet the minimum qualification criteria for
financial and economic standing and technical capability. The project will
consist of approximately 22 kilometres of watermain rehabilitation in and
around Longford Town.

II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: 22 kilometres of watermain
rehabilitation in and around Longford Town. Typically old cast iron
watermains including communication pipes and boundary boxes are to be
replaced. Some AC pipes in poor condition are also included.
Estimated value excluding VAT:
Range: between 4 000 000 and 6 000 000 EUR.
